  It’s been a few days since our course and I truly still haven’t been able to justify the impact that Kate has had on our journey to becoming parents, not just for me, but for my husband too. Kate has equipped us with confidence, support, vulnerability and excitement heading into this next chapter, from techniques to knowledge on what to expect prior to birth, during birth and beyond, this course was the most impactful investment we’ve ever made. I couldn’t recommended this course more and if you’re thinking of booking, definitely book it’s worth it completely.   The Calm Birth course with Kate from The Wonders Within is absolutely essential for all expecting parents. Kate presented clearly and with much knowledge and was so kind and helpful. My husband and I were engaged the whole time and learned so much. We now feel informed about the processes of labour, like we have all the tools in our toolkit to have the birth we want and a sound understanding of interventions that could potentially be on offer and the implications of all of these.   My husband and I recently completed the Calm Birthing course with Kate in the comfort of our own home and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. As a first-time mum, I was feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety about labour and birth, but Kate’s calm, supportive approach helped shift that fear into confidence. She created such a welcoming, non-judgmental space where I felt truly heard and supported. The techniques she taught—from breathing and relaxation to understanding the birthing process—have given me tools I know I’ll use not only during birth, but beyond. Kate’s knowledge and gentle encouragement made a huge difference in how I now view birth: with much more calm, trust, and positivity. If you’re expecting and want to feel more prepared and empowered, I couldn’t recommend this course more highly.

  We feel excited, confident and empowered after working with Kate. We did the full course with Kate for our first baby 3 years ago and a short refresher in preparation for baby #2. It’s honestly the best time and money spent. Kate is so knowledgeable, supportive, gentle and a beautiful person. She has put me at ease and I feel so prepared.   Myself and my husband just recently completed the Calmbirth course with Kate. I don’t know what we expected going into the course, however what we came out of it with surpassed all our expectations. My husband and I feel so much more informed about the birthing process than we did before. We feel empowered to advocate for ourselves and the wellbeing of our child, and feel so much more at ease. I feel equipped with practical pain management strategies, as well as knowledge of likely interventions and common medical practices that may be necessary for mine and my baby’s wellbeing. Kate had an amazing way of calming our concerns and explaining things in a gentle way. I felt empowered both as a woman and mother, and truly do feel as though birth is something that I can do. Her attention to the role and concerns of the fathers in the group was also just incredible. My husband has so many strategies now with which he can be there to support me and our baby through this process. He felt seen and heard during this course, and his role as a vital part of the birthing process was very much made clear to him and validated. I cannot recommend this course, but especially Kate, enough. I will absolutely be staying in contact with her once our baby arrives, and I hope she knows just how much she helped both myself and my husband on our journey to becoming parents.

  We'll be recommending the Calmbirth Course to all our friends! Kate's sensitivity, passion and knowledge made our experience particularly impactful. The course was the perfect blend of evidence-based information and practical exercises (massage, acupressure, breathing/relaxation, supported movement) which left myself and my partner feeling confident and more deeply connected to ourselves, each other and the mind/body connection as we prepare for the birth of our daughter. All participants birth preferences and experiences were respected, which created an inclusive and safe space for everyone to learn and grow in. Looking forward to sharing my birth story with Kate <3
